Ballot for Out-of-Zone

Enrolments for 2016

 

Enrolment at Chelsea School is governed by an enrolment scheme, details of which are available from the school office. The Board has determined that the following places are likely to be available for out of zone students starting in 2016. The exact number of places will depend on the number of applications received from students who live within the school’s home zone.

  • Year 0/1 – 30 placements

There are no places currently available at any other level.

Applications for this ballot close on 14/10/2015.

Ballot date is 21/10/2015.

Ballot forms are available from the school office.

 

If you live in the home zone and have not yet signalled your intention to enrol your child later this year, please contact the school immediately to assist us to plan appropriately.

Chelsea Primary School's enrolment zone encompasses Balmain Road, Onetaunga Road, Chelsea View Drive, Porritt Avenue and everything off these streets as well as Mokoia Road /Waipa Street from Porrit Ave to Kauri Road/Hebe Place, as shown here:

This strategic plan was developed by the Board of Trustees and the teaching staff of the school, in order to provide a disciplined approach to the management of Chelsea School over the next three years. The draft plan was circulated to the parent community for comment.

​​You can look at the Syndicate newsletter given out to your child(ren) every term.  The newsletter will outline the topics to be covered for a particular term in a given syndicate.  For up-to-date news of what's happening in and around your child(ren)'s class, please check out the Class Blogs on our website.  The class blogs will link to an external blog site.​

Chelsea School welcomes enrolment applications from International students and their families. We work hard to provide a supportive, happy and uniquely Kiwi educational experience for your child.

Chelsea School has agreed to observe and be bound by the Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students. Copies of the Code are available from the NZQA website at www.nzqa.govt.nz
